Our delivery service provides weekly delivery and pick-up to your door. You will not need to be home for deliveries. We recommend that you set your soiled diapers out the night before your delivery day to assure a smooth pick up and drop off. Please tie the bag shut every week.
Your first delivery includes your full order of freshly laundered cotton diapers. Which are delivered to your door in a reuseable cloth bag. Every following delivery you will receive the amount of diapers you returned the week prior. We charge you for the number of diapers you are ordering (renting) each week, not the number of diapers you use.
If you are going to be out of town, or for some other reason do not need a delivery of diapers, you may schedule a vacation hold on your account. We will pick up your soiled diapers before your vacation hold begins. As long as you won’t be using our diapers while you are away, you will not be charged for the week(s) that you aren’t receiving the service. If you will be using the diapers during the hold, you will be charged as usual.
Please call to schedule your vacation hold at least 3 working days prior to your delivery day.
What do I do with the soiled diapers? TOP
Your clean diapers are delivered in a reusable bag. Use this bag to line your hamper and return the bag weekly. It is not necessary to soak or rinse the diapers but please empty the solid waste into the toilet before you place the diapers in the bag. Do not use the diapers as burp cloths as the milk causes mold.
You will be charged a per diaper fee* for diapers that have mold or continually contain solid feces. ($0.30-$1.50 per diaper). What do I do on my delivery day? TOP
The drivers begin their routes very early. Please set out your soiled diapers the night before your delivery day. After the first delivery, you will have a general idea of when your delivery will be and what time the driver picks up, but this will vary due to vacations, sickness, weather, holidays, etc. Please tie the top of the bag and set it out the night before. What if my bag gets stolen? TOP
Believe it or not bags do get stolen. We ask that you make sure that you place your bag in a secure location. If, however, a bag does get stolen we will split the cost of the stolen bag with the customer. What do I do if I forget to set out my soiled diapers? TOP

Check your baby's diaper often. There is no substitute for a clean diaper. A cotton diaper does not hide the wetness so you can tell when it needs to be changed. Wetness does not cause a rash. Rash is caused by germs, bacteria, acid, and ammonia build-up. Parents who use disposable diapers are fooled into thinking the diaper is clean simply because it feels dry. Changing less often to gain personal convenience is not the best childcare. Remember, a diaper is not a toilet.
Proper hand washing between changing is very important to keep yeast infection-type rashes from spreading. This type of rash is unique in that it usually requires an antibiotic prescription from a doctor to cure.
When a red, sensitive bottom appears after a loose and highly acidic bowl movement, (often the result of medication), letting the baby's bottom soak in a tub of clear water does wonders to cool and clean residue trapped in skin pores and crevices.
If a rash persists, consult your doctor. Are cloth diapers better for the environment? TOP
This has been an ongoing debate. Please go to our home page and click on the button "links." You can see why cloth is the superior choice for the environment AND your
baby.
One note, there are not many articles about waste in landfills. Disposable diaper users are suppose to scrape BM into the toilet but almost no one does - the whole diaper just gets folded, hidden and forgotten about in the trash. Using flushable, biodegradable diaper liners (made of paper, feels like toilet paper) will enable you to flush baby's solid waste down the toilet. The waste will go through the sewage system instead of going into the landfill. Landfills leak and seep into the ground, groundwater and eventually trickles into the lakes and oceans. Let's help keep our environment as clean as possible and contaminant free. What is available with the diaper service? TOP
As we grow, we will offer products such as a variety of diaper covers, wipes, and other diapering supplies. The products can be order online or over the phone and we will deliver them with your diaper delivery. There will not be a shipping charge for these orders since we will be picking up and delivering your diapers at your home anyway. What size diaper should I order? TOP
You can always call our office for assistance. Here are general guidelines:
- Preemie – babies weighing 2-7 lbs, diapers are about 12" x 8"
- Infant – 6-12 lbs, 13.5"x11.5"

- Super – 22 lbs + 19" x 14
How many diaper covers should I have? TOP
It depends on how often you want to do laundry. In general we recommend 4-6 diaper covers. Some parents get by with less covers because they rinse when soiled and hang dry. We recommend 2-3 Prorap or Thirsties, 1 pocket diaper and then another one of your choice. The pocket diapers are great for nighttime or travel, the Prorap or similiar can be used several times before they need to be laundered. The wool or fleece are really top of the line and provide the ultimate in comfort. How are the diapers washed? TOP
We adhere to the requirements of the Real Diaper Industry Association and The National Association of Diaper Services. We wash in water above 140 degrees with environmentally safe detergent in energy efficient machines. I live North of Oceanside, do you service that area? TOP
