San Diego Diaper Service was formed by new parents wanting to share the benefits of cloth diapers to other parents. For so long, there were 2 choices in San Diego: disposables or do-it-yourself diaper laundering. Cloth is the best choice for your child and a diaper service makes cloth diapers more convenient.
You may wonder why choose cloth diapers. Cloth diapers are the simple, natural choice for your baby's diapering needs. Cloth is pure and natural, no chemical or dioxins (a carcinogen) against baby's sensitive diaper area. Benefits include less diaper rash for babies and early potty training. On top of cloth being better for baby, it is the better choice for the environment - less landfill waste and no human waste in landfills. We encourage the use of flushable diaper liners. Baby's solid waste goes on the liner, urine passes through the liner and onto the diaper. The liner then goes down the toilet, keeping human waste out of landfills which eventually leaks into our ground and water. However, if you choose to launder the cloth yourself, we also sell
diaper supplies.
Diapers, wipes, liners are all washed in 140-180 degrees water temperature with bacteria killing detergents that are safe for our environment in energy efficient machines.
We adhere to the requirements of both the National Association of Diaper Services and The Real Diaper Industry Association. We believe strongly in staying up to date with all the cloth diapering requirements that we sit on the board of The Real Diaper Industry Association. You can be confident that the information we learn from the board will help us continue to provide you with the safest and most reliable diaper service.
